Hello, my name is Dan
Waltz, and thank you for visiting my web site. Just to tell
you a little about myself; I've been an artist/illustrator and
graphic designer for over 25 years. I've won numerous awards
and have had my work published in and on many major publications,
such as Michigan Out-of-doors magazine, and several Michigan
area phone book covers to name a few. You may know me mostly
for my realistic wildlife paintings. I just recently illustrated
and published four children's books with more coming out in the
very near future and had just released a new series of books
that I'm writing myself; spooky chapter books with illustrations. "Kornstalkers, Corn Maze Massacre" is the first title
of the "Chilled To The Bone!" series. I'm in the proccess
of writing book number two in that same series called "DejaBoo". No release date is set for this book at this time. I'm proud to say that I had just finished a full length, illustrated FANTASY novel for all ages to enjoy; entitiled "Dragon•Fly," A Gnome's Great Adventure. The novel contains more than 75 illustrations and reads simular to something from C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien.
"But a whole lot different," I might add. "There really isn't another story like it, but if you enjoy fantasy stories, such as The Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, or even Harry Potter, then you’re sure to appreciate this one!"
There is something to enjoy for everyone, according to the raving reviews the book has already received. The release date was December 1st, 2007.
I do many shows and
book signings throughout the midwest and even find time to stop
in and visit a school now and then when invited. I opened up my own business
in 1997, known as D.W. Publishing. This is where I offer
a large variety of art related services, all of which can be
