Chess, a “real” game changer.
Manya Cynus: Experiencing chess on a whole new level.
♟️ If you knew my dad, you knew how much chess meant to him.
He played, studied and read about chess, every single day for as long as I can remember. Growing up in our house, you didn’t really have a choice—you were going to learn a thing or two about the game whether you planned to or not.
Last year, I came across a Kickstarter for a new kind of chess experience. It was still in development, just an idea taking shape—but something about it felt right. I backed it, thinking it might be a meaningful way to keep my dad’s memory alive.
Then came the wait… 8 or 9 months of wondering what it would actually be like.
When it finally arrived, it exceeded every expectation I had.
From the first move, it didn’t feel like I was playing a machine. It felt like sitting across from an opponent again—thinking, reacting, anticipating. It brought something back I knew I’d been missing.
In a way, it brought me back to those days at home… watching, learning, and sharing something simple but meaningful.
Funny how a game can do that.
♟️ Over 600 million people actively play chess worldwide—and up to 1 billion know how. That’s a huge part of the 8.3 billion people on our planet connected by one timeless game.
But, let’s be honest here, it takes two to tango and playing against a computer has never quite felt the same as playing against an opponent. You’re tapping screens, following lights, or moving pieces for an opponent that isn’t really there. In the end you feel like you just played yourself.
That’s about to change.
A new AI-powered chess robot is redefining the experience—bringing the board to life in a way that feels like you’re facing a real opponent across the table. Every move, every moment, feels natural, immersive, and most of all, real.
This isn’t just playing chess against a machine… it’s experiencing chess in a whole new way.
And the best part? It’s almost ready for retail.
Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing the link soon so you too can enjoy it as much as I have.
